
Ronnie Vehemente, L.C.S.W.
Associate / Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Since graduating from Columbia University School of Social Work, Ronnie has
extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and their families
in areas of trauma, illness, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. She has
provided individual, family and group therapy in a variety of settings including
hospitals, day treatment programs, outpatient mental health clinics and private
practices. In recent years, her work has expanded to supporting adolescents and
women with eating disorders and body images issues as well as new mothers and
their adjustment to this role in their lives.
Ronnie values clients as partners in the therapeutic process and utilizes a holistic
approach incorporating mindfulness, cognitive behavioral and process oriented
therapies which best support clients and their needs and goals. She offers a
safe and nurturing environment and works with clients to develop self-knowledge
and skills to live a more meaningful, manageable, and fulfilling life.
